Our Articles of Faith

This church, a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, upholds the following foundational doctrines:

View the full Articles of Faith here:

Scripture – The Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, inerrant in their original writings, and the ultimate authority in faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16).

God – One true and living God exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in essence and worthy of worship (Matt. 28:19).

Jesus Christ – The Son of God, born of a virgin, who died, was buried, rose again, and ascended to the Father

(1 Cor. 15:3-4).

Holy Spirit – The third Person of the Trinity, who convicts of sin, regenerates believers, and baptizes them into Christ’s body (John 16:7-11).

Man – Created in God’s image but fallen through sin, incurring physical and spiritual death (Rom. 3:23).

Salvation – A gift of God received by faith in Jesus Christ, involving regeneration, sanctification, and eternal security

(Eph. 2:8-9).

Second Coming – Jesus Christ will return pre-millennially and pre-tribulation to gather His Church and establish His kingdom (1 Thes. 4:13-18).

Providence – God is sovereign but does not author sin or negate human free will (Rom. 8:28-30).

Priesthood of Believers – Every Christian has direct access to God through Jesus Christ (1 Tim. 2:5).

Security of Believers – Salvation is eternal, secured by God’s power, not human effort (John 10:28).

Satan – A fallen being, defeated at the cross, awaiting final judgment (Rev. 20:10).

The Lord’s Day – Sunday is a day of worship and spiritual devotion (Rev. 1:10).

Creation – God created the universe apart from pre-existing materials, rejecting evolutionary processes (Gen. 1:1).

The Local Church – A self-governing body of baptized believers with Christ as the head (Eph. 1:22-23).

Ordinances – Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and remembrance (Matt. 28:19-20).

These beliefs define our faith and guide our mission as a church.
