UCF Celebrates Juneteenth
Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19, commemorates the day in 1865 when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston and announced that enslaved African Americans were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued by Abraham Lincoln. Juneteenth has become a powerful celebration of freedom, resilience, faith, culture, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. In 2021, Juneteenth was officially recognized as a federal holiday in the United States, honoring the legacy and contributions of African Americans throughout the nation's history.

Father's Day
Father’s Day is a special occasion to honor and celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, father figures, mentors, and spiritual leaders who have faithfully guided, supported, and strengthened our families and community. At United Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, we give thanks to God for the men who lead with faith, integrity, wisdom, and love, serving as examples of Christ in their homes, church, and daily lives. This day is an opportunity to recognize their sacrifices, cherish their contributions, and pray for God’s continued blessings, strength, and favor upon them as they impact future generations.
